Sharks sign NBA D-Leaguer Gage Daye

The One Health Sheffield Sharks have confirmed today that they have signed former NBA D-League player, 23 year old Gage Daye for the 2012/13 season.

Daye, who at 6’2 plays guard, followed an impressive Division II career at Bloomfield College by  spending time last season with NBA D-League side, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. At Fort Wayne, Daye played four games and averaged 7.8 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 2.5 apg in just under 15 minutes a night.

Daye’s signing comes less than 24 hours after the Sharks announced the return of Mike Tuck for a third season.
