Rodman: From New Jersey to North Korea (via Big Bro and Brighton)

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Dennis Rodman and Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Un?

Who’d have thought that a bromance would spring up between this pairing hey? Not us here at UKAmericanSportsFans.com, however stranger things have happened, like him being a wrestler, then showing up in Celebrity Big Brother, and then even stranger, him showing up for the former Brighton Bears in 2006.

Now even more from the crazy world of the five-time NBA Champion, as he has turned up in Pyongyang with VICE to film a new HBO series, bringing with them members of the Harlem Globetrotters, where the game, played out in front of Rodman sat alongside the leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, ended in a 110-110 draw (see…it doesn’t just happen in the BBL!) with two Americans playing on each team alongside North Koreans.

“You have a friend for life,” The Worm told Kim in front of the crowd, in a move that the Supreme Leader hopes will break the ice between the USA and North Korea after recent underground nuclear testing. At least that is what VICE’s founder, Shane Smith, is leading people to believe.

*Please don’t block this website from North Korea due to the surprised nature of this article – cheers*

*UPDATE*

Now Rodman has been interviewed back on US shores and told ABC News that Kim Jong-Un wants Obama to “call him”.

‘The Worm’, it seems may now be in with a shout of being called ‘The Messenger’…
