Christmas with BBL player… Kai Williams

‘Christmas is here! Christmas is here! There’s reason to cheer! There’s reason to cheer!’ And over at BBL.org.uk, they’ve spoken to a collection of BBL stars from around the league about a range of festive-holiday topics from: where they will be spending Christmas, to what they’d get their coach for Christmas.

UKASF.com has access to the full interviews with each player and over the coming days, will be posting them for your enjoyment.

Here is…Christmas with Worcester Wolves forward Kai Williams.

How will you be spending the Christmas period this year?
I will be spending Christmas with my Aunt and Uncle who live in England. Also my brother will be with us since he
is over playing with Plymouth.

What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
Having time to relax with family!

It doesn’t matter whether you were a child or an adult; what’s been your best ever Christmas present?
I was big into Ninja Turtles when I was young so when I was lucky enough to get a ninja turtle toy van was probably the best gift.

What presents have you asked for this year?
Lotto tickets!

What do you enjoy more: the giving or receiving?
I am terrible at choosing presents for others because I never know what will be useful or what anyone wants, so I would say receiving.

Any Christmas traditions you’d like to share?
I come from a small family so we didn’t do anything to crazy, just the typical stuff like most.

If you had to get your coach a Christmas present, what would it be?
A fancy new pedal bike so he can give me the nice car that he drives.

And finally, what is your Christmas wish for the rest of the BBL season?
For myself and our team to stay healthy for the remainder of the season so we can finish as strong as possible.
