Sharks sign Tuck to new deal

It was announced today that the One Health Sheffield Sharks have secured the signature of forward, Mike Tuck, ahead of the 2012/13 season.

Player-coach of the Sharks, Atiba Lyons, said on the official Sharks website that Mike Tuck was one of his main priorities when planning for the new season.

“Mike is one of the first guys that I wanted to bring back

“He’s a quality player that embodies the Sharks. He’s been working hard this summer and is looking forward to helping our new players bed into the BBL. We’re delighted to have him back.”

Tuck returns to the Sharks following a solid second season in Sheffield where he led the team in rebounds (10.49 per game) while averaging 15.2 points. His efforts helped guide the Sharks to seventh place in the league and into the quarter finals of the BBL Play-offs.
