NFL 2013 Team Rankings: Week 3 Summary
“He’s more machine now than man, twisted and evil”, well ok we don’t really mean the latter part but Peyton Manning is playing some kind of freakish football that Darth Vader would have been proud of if he were a QB.
Anyway we digress slightly, what we’re trying to say here is that Denver yet again extended their lead at the top of the UKASF Power Rankings. They didn’t manage top score of the week (Seattle lay claim to that title with 38), but by overturning the Raiders on MNF they cemented top place. A strong game by the Bears late on Sunday saw them rise to be the nearest challenger, and despite losing a close one Green Bay hold on to a top four place.
Where else would a 3-0 team be as low as 15th in a Power list? Here of course, and likewise a 0-3 team is as high as 21st.
Biggest mover this week were Carolina who beat up the New York Giants this past weekend and got their reward by going up 12 places. Sliding down the ladder to the tune of 14 places was St.Louis, who was manhandled by Dallas.
The lowest score of the season so far was recorded this week, just 3 points. For the record the lowest you can score in this format is 2…
…Ladies and Gentleman, your New York Giants!!
