NFL 2013 Team Rankings: Week 2 Summary

It’s amazing what three touchdowns in six minutes can do. The Denver Broncos quick hit their way to the best points tally of the week, and in doing so extended their lead at the top of the exclusive UK American Sports Fans Power Rankings.

Hanging on to their shoulder pads though are the Houston Texans, despite another narrow win they are putting up some yardage to stay in touch. A big outing by Green Bay propelled them up into the top five, and even though they lost this week, Philadelphia remains near the top.

Biggest climbers in week 2 were Seattle and Atlanta. Both moved up 14 places after impressive displays. Cincinnati also moved away from the lower end after a strong showing on MNF.

The manner in which San Francisco lost to the Seahawks this past weekend meant that not only did they register the second lowest point’s total of the season so far, they also slipped an incredible 17 places in the rankings.
