Hull Stingrays make pre-season fixture changes

The Rapid Solicitors Hull Stingrays have confirmed today a number of changes to their pre-season programme, with the hope that the addition of Edinburgh Capitals will be an early indication of where the Stingrays started ahead of the new season.

The new pre-season schedule is as follows:

Wednesday 28th August: v Edinburgh Capitals (home) 7.30pm face-off
Thursday 29th August: v Sheffield Steeldogs (away) 7.45pm face-off
Sunday 1st September: v Edinburgh Capitals (away) 6pm face-off
Wednesday 4th September: v Sheffield Steeldogs (home) 7.30pm face-off

Player-coach Sylvain Cloutier said: “Playing Edinburgh now will give us a good idea of where we are at against another team in our conference.

“We are really pleased to still be able to have four exhibition games which will help us with our preparations for the new season when we are looking to make a strong start.

“The results are not that important, we want to make sure we get our systems in place and stay healthy. It is all about being ready for the Nottingham game.”
