GridironTV ready to launch “Our Year” documentary

GridironTV was started in 2011 by Stuart Gilmartin and Stuart Young, and instantly become a hit with fans and teams up and down the country. Trying to follow the sport played here can sometimes be a difficult task, but thanks to the pioneering efforts of these two, and now many more, we can view games at a click.

When the Stirling Clansmen were defeated in the BUCS playoff quarter finals in 2013 by the Birmingham Lions, GridironTV were there, and have been there ever since documenting their steady rise until they won the Championship earlier this year defeating those same Lions in an epic game in Leeds.

Stuart Gilmartin was especially proud of the moment his cameras caught the Clansmen winning it all, “Scottish teams would make it to the finals or semi-finals only to fall short. It was great to follow the Clansmen as they aimed to win it all. It was especially all the more gratifying that we were able to broadcast the final, live to the world, and obtain our largest viewing audience to date.”

The documentary titled “Our Year – A season with the Stirling Clansmen” goes in depth with interviews with graduating senior players who have been with the team for years, to the coaching staff who explain the extra demands they put on the players.

After some lengthy preparation the full length feature length DVD of the documentary is nearly ready for release and we have the teaser trailer for you right here. Its also not to late to get involved in this great project with some added benefits.
