The Wrap-Up: Durant leads OKC over Clippers

Keith Firmin brings you The Wrap-Up on all of last night’s NBA games including, Durant’s 28 points and an OKC fan repeating history.

Los Angeles Clippers @ OKC

Kevin Durant led all scorers with 28 points and ultimately led the Thunder to a 105-91 win over the LA Clippers. Durant also had six rebounds and eight assists in the Thunder’s third straight win. Chris Paul extended his record of most consecutive games with a double-double from the beginning of the season, by notching 17 points and 12 assists – his 14th straight game. Blake Griffin once again had a strong game scoring 27 points along with his sixth straight game of 10 or more rebounds. Both Serge Ibaka and Steven Adams had three blocks apiece in the Thunder win.

Weirdly, he’s not the first winner either:

And this one too…

Chicago @ Denver

Holding the Bulls to only 14 points in the third quarter along with a surprise 17 point contribution off the bench from Jordan Hamilton, helped Denver get the win, 97-87. Sub-40% shooting for the Bulls, including a difficult night for Deng who was just 3-of-18 for the game, sealed their fate as their five game win streak came to an end.

Don’t forget that the British connection in the NBA will be strong on Friday night/Saturday morning as Luol Deng and the Chicago Bulls visit Portland to take on Joel Freeland and the Trailblazers. Watch the game live or on-demand via NBA League Pass at www.nba.tv
