The Wrap-Up: Portland hold off Toronto and Blake is the new Nash

The Blazers led through three quarters but Rudy Gay’s driving lay-up, just two of his game-high 30 points, at the end of regulation extended the contest to overtime, where Portland regained their composure and claimed the win, 118-110. LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard had 25 points apiece while DeRozan supported Gay with 29 points. Freeland was a +11 in just over 12 minutes.

Memphis @ Sacramento

Zach Randolph’s 22 points and 10 rebounds led the Grizzlies past the Kings, 97-86. The Grizzlies starters outscored the Kings starters 78-29, although the Kings bench helped whittle down a 20 point Grizz lead to just 3 in the fourth period before Memphis retook control.

Blink and you’ll miss it

Detroit @ Los Angeles Lakers

Detroit won the first two quarters of this contest but the Lakers dominated the second half to win, 114-99. Jordan Hill’s 24 points and 17 rebounds made him the performer of the game as Brandon Jennings had 23 points and 14 assists in the Pistons loss. Steve Blake racked up 16 dimes in the win.
