If the NFL playoffs were today – AFC Edition

The AFC playoff picture is a little bit clearer after week thirteen’s round of games. Denver now has daylight in their division race after beating Kansas City for the second time in three weeks. New England still has the second seed, followed closely by Indianapolis and Cincinnati.

The Wild Card race is a bit more complex. Kansas City are virtual lock ins for the first spot after their tremendous start to the year, but their three game losing skid will start to worry them and their defence is starting to look very vulnerable. Current champions Baltimore sit nicely in the second wild card spot, but only by virtue of their win over Miami 26-23 in week five.

All teams can still mathematically qualify but it looks a lost cause for Jacksonville 3-9 and Houston 2-10.
