If the NFL playoffs were today – AFC edition

With just three weeks to go only one team has been officially eliminated from playoff contention in the AFC. Some have already booked their postseason ticket, others are on the brink of having their season ended.

Denver Broncos have been on top of the Conference standings since opening night but with New England just a game back and with a tiebreaking edge they cannot claim home field advantage just yet. Cincinnati beat Indianapolis this week and leapfrogged them into the number three seed.

Kansas City got back to winning ways and even though they have an outside chance of winning the West division, they are a lock for the number five seed if they cant get past the Broncos.

The last wild card place is probably going to come from one of five teams as its very unlikely the 4-8 sides will win out and have all the dice roll their way.
